European Championships – Glasgow 2018
We supplied and installed the temporary vinyl dressing applied to the frontage of the Riverside Museum in Glasgow for the 2018 European Championships. We had a few details to problem solve, such as the recessed gaps between the panes and some tricky (aka very windy) weather conditions during install to plan for but overall the job went as planned and was another eye-catching Redblu success story!
We also supplied numerous graphics for the various merchandise stalls and marquees throughout the city. Glasgow Green was the main events hub and had multiple locations requiring decoration as well.

SICSA Demofest
Redblu worked with SICSA to deliver the Demofest conference. It’s a great conference showcasing the very best Informatics and Computing Science research from all of Scotland’s Universities. There are some seriously intelligent people working in our midst. Hopefully more and more will be able to spin out their ideas and commercialise them, helping Scotland grow.
We artworked all the graphics with each teams’ specific content, set into a predefined template. We then printed and delivered all the pods to the Dynamic Earth in Edinburgh. What a fantastic venue that is.
People Make Glasgow
As part of the branding package that arrived in Glasgow ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Redblu printed the now iconic ‘People Make Glasgow’ slogan windows on the front of the College of Building and Printing. We printed kits tailored to fit the numerous different pane sizes that make up each window block, and collated each with a small reference number so that the fitting teams abseiling down the face could easily identify what does where and get the correct vinyl from their bundle every time.
Originally designed to only be there for a few months, the vinyl has now been in place for 6 years and counting, and is still looking good and regularly features on TV, online and in print!
