Project Description

Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) exhibited at the Energy Innovation Summit in Liverpool with a 15m × 5m island, large enough to offer two different experiences under one brand.

The footprint is split into two zones. A blue-carpeted area with lightbox counters sits under a tall branded header wall, with two 85-inch screens and a 43-inch screen for content and iPads on stands for visitors to explore. Sixteen LED spots light the counters and walls, and the counters and shelves were CNC-cut to the design.

The second zone turns green, with timber slat detailing, planting and a welcome totem for informal conversations, giving visitors a softer place to talk away from the screens.

The result is a stand that handles both the formal and the conversational sides of a summit, with the layout, materials and colour doing the work of directing visitors.
