Frequently Asked Questions
What is iLLumigo?
iLLumigo is a modular aluminium lightbox display system. LEDs are fitted at the factory inside a 120mm-deep frame, numbered sections push together without tools, and a double-sided SEG fabric graphic locks into a channel around the edge for a seamless illuminated finish.
How is iLLumigo different from FastFrame?
FastFrame is a non-illuminated modular frame system. iLLumigo is the lightbox equivalent — the same tool-free, reusable, purchase-outright idea, but with LEDs built into the frame for a backlit graphic. If you want the lightbox look, iLLumigo is the one; if you don't need illumination, FastFrame does the same job for less.
Will iLLumigo fit inside my shell scheme bay?
Yes. A narrower 0.85m-module version at 2.3m height is built specifically to sit within standard shell scheme walls, and we offer ready-made 3x3, 3x5 and 2x6 shell scheme kits sized to typical bay footprints.
Can I hire iLLumigo, or do I have to buy it?
iLLumigo is a self-build purchase system — you buy the frame outright and it's yours to reconfigure and reuse. If you'd rather not own the hardware, our Aluvision and T3 Systems partners cover the hire route instead.
How many transformers does an iLLumigo wall need?
It scales with total width: one transformer covers up to 3m, two up to 4m, three up to 4.8m, and four for anything from 4.85m up to the full 7.85m.
Is iLLumigo sustainable?
Because you own the frame outright, only the SEG graphic needs replacing between campaigns — the aluminium structure, LEDs and connectors are reused indefinitely, which is one of the lowest-waste ways to keep a lightbox presence fresh for every show.
