Project Description
This stand won Stand of the Show at Healthcare Estates 2023.
Specialist Door Solutions make doors. That is a harder brief than it sounds: the product is large, heavy, and easy to walk past. The answer was to stop treating the doors as exhibits and start treating them as architecture.
A 6m x 6m island on stand C20, open on all four sides, built on a custom raised platform with a wood edge. A 4m tower anchored the stand and carried an integrated LED tile section running between 2.5m and 3.5m - high enough to read from across the hall, low enough to still feel like part of the stand rather than a billboard bolted above it. LEDline corner posts framed the footprint. Tension fabric seamless graphics ran to every facing wall, including the wings and the storage box.
Inside, an L-shaped welcome counter and a separate coffee counter with a barista machine. 6sqm of HiLed55 LED tiles and two 50-inch 4K screens carried the product story. Six stools and three bar tables gave the team somewhere to actually sit with a visitor rather than catch them in the aisle.
Four-man build and break, Aluvision system, delivered from our Fordingbridge depot to Manchester Central.
Healthcare Estates runs at Manchester Central each October and draws the NHS estates and facilities community. It is a technical audience with a short window - which is exactly why the stand had to work at distance first and detail second.
Designed and delivered by Redblu on our Aluvision system.
