Project Description

Medtronic's stand at the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgery annual meeting at the ICC Birmingham was designed as an open island, visible from all four sides of a 5m × 5m space, for a surgical audience that expects precision.

Backlit fabric towers carry integrated screens, and four 3m LEDline profiles with blue LEDs run along their edges, giving the island a defined, illuminated silhouette. White storage counters line the edges, and a blue podium plinth at the front presents product.

A glass display counter and a tabletop unit holding a laparoscopic equipment display give delegates something to look at, while tub chairs and bar stools form a seating area for clinical conversations.

The result is a composed four-sided stand that keeps product, screens and seating clearly separated.
