Marshall’s Interiors

By |October 15th, 2020|Categories: , |Tags: , |0 Comments

We provided a nice rebrand for Marshall’s Interiors in sunny Johnstone. Originally a branch of the family-run Carpets Plus, the owner David wanted to move into a more complete interiors solution offering wallcoverings and soft furnishings in addition to the carpets and flooring they are known for.

We created a clean, contemporary design that feels at home in Scotland as it is today, incorporating a little bit of tartan detailing and some nice photography for the adverts as well.

We’re looking forward to seeing how the rest of the transformation takes shape!

Speedbird Inn

We designed and installed a set of bespoke built sign trays with led backlighting at the Speedbird Inn, Dyce, Aberdeen. The customer was feeling the pressure of large chain hotels opening up in the surrounding area and needed a signage freshen up using the already established branding to keep them looking appealing and relevant.

Brief

Working with the incumbent creative agency for Balblair and Old Pulteney the agency approached Redblu to produce a large building banner to cover the gable end of one of the whisky bonds.

Solution

We produced a 10m x 5m PVC banner and installed this in Airdrie, Scotland.  We used the F2 profile from Spirit Flex which allows us to clip in the banner for easy change.  Access by Genie 45.

Gleddoch House Hotel

By |August 20th, 2020|Categories: , , |Tags: , , |0 Comments

Redblu surveyed, specified and designed various internal and external signage for Gleddoch House Hotel as part of a multi million pound refurbishment. Our elements included a number of external entrance signs, internal directional signage, golf club shop signage and window graphics and directional signage for the approach to the hotel itself.

All of the signage had to be aligned visually with the hotel’s luxury feel and colour scheme, and we implemented high quality acrylic panels and also some brass plaques to get that premium feel.

Craiglockhart Loch Signage

By |August 20th, 2020|Categories: |Tags: |0 Comments

Brief

One of our long standing agency friends had a requirement to design and produce a long standing, aesthetically pleasing sign for Craiglockhart Community to explain a bit about the loch and its history.

Solution

We designed a wooden sign using Balau which is a hard wood perfect for long lasting.  The graphic was specified for photographic quality, laminate for protection for UV rays and suitable to ensure it did not deteriorate over time as this was going up for the long term. The sign was fitted in 2014 and still looks like today.

Drumoig Golf Centre

By |August 13th, 2020|Categories: , |Tags: , |0 Comments

We designed and produced the signage for Drumoig Golf Club, increasing the centre’s visibility from the roadside, and directing visitors around the site. This included entrance, car park, directional, practice range and tee signage, as well as signage and avertising of the Trackman products at the club shop.

An added complication was the adjacent public right of way footpath, so multiple clear signage items were required for the safety of people using that as well!
